What's cooking at The Crown Hotel?
Competitions: for 4-9 year-olds and 10-16 year-olds
Deadline for entries: 5pm on Saturday 18 October

At the Woodbridge Children's Book Festival, The Crown Hotel is hosting a story time of the Mad Hatters Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland. To celebrate the occasion, The Crown is asking children to think about other memorable mealtimes and fantastic food they have read about in their favourite books.

There are two competitions.

Food for thought: You can choose to create a recipe for a dish inspired by a story you have read, and have it made for you when you dine as a guest at The Crown Hotel with a friend and your parents in a very special prize. The best entry will be judged by Stephen David from The Crown Hotel.

Mealtime masterpieces: You can draw a picture of special mealtime from a children's book and win a prize of Sunday lunch with two parents at this lovely hotel. The best entry will be judged by judged
by local artist David Green.

You can enter each competition in one of two age groups: 4-9 year-olds and 10-16 year-olds. All entries must be received by The Crown Hotel by 5pm on Saturday 18 October.

The best entries in each of the categories will be informed by Saturday 24 October. The winning illustrations will be displayed at The Crown Hotel during the weekend of the Woodbridge Children's Book Festival.
