Kevin Crossley-Holland on his new book, Waterslain Angels
Author/speaker: Kevin Crossley-Holland
Date: Saturday 25 October
Time: 2.30pm

Waterslain Angels is published this month and what better setting to hear all about it than the beautiful St Mary's Church in Woodbridge.

In the village of Waterslain in Norfolk it was thought that the carved angels which once supported the church roof had been destroyed centuries earlier. But when a fragment is discovered, two children decide to search for all the missing 14 carvings. There are few clues, but a strange inscription on the church wall leads them into terrifying places. Set in the haunting atmosphere of the Norfolk saltmarshes in the 1950s, this is a tense, fast-paced story.
