The power of place with Meg Rosoff
Author/speaker: Meg Rosoff
Date: Friday 24 October
Time: Afternoon

Whether it's past, present or future, the concrete ugliness of Luton or the eerie eroding coastline of Suffolk, award-winning author Meg Rosoff never fails in transporting her readers to a whole other world when they lose themselves in one of her books. This afternoon she talks to pupils of Farlingaye School about the importance of the setting for her amazing stories. She discusses some of the work they have produced in anticipation of today's visit, and she reveals some of the secrets she has discovered in combining authenticity and fantasy.

Venue: Farlingaye School
